Carrying all your water for a camping trip gets heavy fast. A filtering bottle lets you refill from streams, rivers, and questionable taps without getting sick.
The PureDrop uses a 0.1-micron hollow fiber membrane that removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa. That covers giardia, E. coli, salmonella, and most of what you’re likely to find in backcountry water sources.
No pumping, no chemical taste, no waiting. Fill the bottle, squeeze, drink. It flows at about 17 oz per minute, so you’re not standing there forever.
The filter lasts for 1500 gallons before it needs replacing. A single filter costs about $15, which is cheaper than buying bottled water for a weekend trip, let alone a longer one.
The body is food-grade silicone that collapses flat when empty. Rolled up it takes almost no space in a pack. The mouthpiece cap keeps the clean side clean when you’re not drinking.
Works for camping, day hikes, international travel, and emergency preparedness. Not rated for removing viruses, so in areas where viruses are a concern (parts of Asia, Africa) you’d want an additional treatment step.

Does what it’s supposed to. I’ve had it for about a month and used it on two trips so far. Holding up well. Shipping took 5 days, which was fine.

Third product I’ve bought from this store. Same consistent quality every time. This one replaced an old one from Amazon that fell apart after two trips.

Took this on a 4-day trip through Shenandoah and it held up great. Quality is solid, price was fair, and it arrived in 3 days. Would buy from here again.
