If you’re counting every ounce, this is the tent you want. The TrailShelter 1P uses 15D silnylon for the fly and a 2500mm polyurethane-coated floor. It handles rain, it handles wind, and it disappears into your pack.
The semi-freestanding design uses two trekking poles you already carry, so there are no extra tent poles to pack. Pitch time is around 5 minutes once you’ve done it twice.
The interior has enough room for one person and a pack. There’s a small vestibule for your boots and wet gear. Ventilation is reasonable for a tight tent as long as you leave the door cracked.
This is not a social tent. There’s no room for a partner, and it’s not designed for sitting upright comfortably. But if you’re moving fast and sleeping solo, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do at a weight no dome tent can match.
Comes with eight titanium stakes and a stuff sack. Works best with trekking poles 105 to 125cm.

Good product overall. Works well for the price. I took off one star because the carrying bag could be a bit bigger, but that’s a minor thing. Would recommend.

Brought this to a group camping trip and got compliments from everyone. Looks nicer than I expected and functions even better. Five stars, easy.

Used this all weekend at a campground in Colorado. No complaints. It does exactly what the description says it does, which is honestly all I ask for.
